HAPPY 4th OF JULY!

During our third trial trip, we spent our first night at the 4 Corners of Ft Walton Beach. The evening was breathtaking as we sat on the middeck, first surrounded by a stunning sunset, full of vibrant colors and clouds. Later that night, fireworks lit up the sky around us. Unfortunately, my phone was out of battery, and I hadn't brought my camera gear to capture the spectacle, but we were left with wonderful memories.

Being on a boat offers a unique environment that fosters deeper communication and connection. It provides the perfect setting for uninterrupted conversations, allowing us to truly understand each other's perspectives and feelings. This intimate space can accelerate relationship milestones as we navigate both the joys and challenges together, ultimately strengthening our bond. Embrace these moments as opportunities for growth and discovery, leading to a more profound understanding and appreciation of each other.

On the second day, we awoke to Marcus preparing our favorite breakfast: eggs, sausage, and toast. After enjoying the meal, we cruised around the bay and ventured under the Brooks Bridge for the first time. Although I was quite anxious, convinced we wouldn't make it, we passed through without any issues. We then traveled to the Elks Club on Okaloosa Island and secured our boat. Feeling less social, I stayed on the boat while Marcus went inside to see his friends. When one of the ropes came untied, Marcus quickly came to the rescue. It was a challenging day, but through effective communication and teamwork, we managed it well. That night, we stayed in the same location as the previous night, this time enjoying the beautiful sunsets and starry skies.

The following day, we tidied up the boat, traveled back, unpacked, and prepared for the week ahead.
