NEWEST CHANGES
If you're considering purchasing a sailboat, be prepared for it to be an ongoing endeavor. Maintenance and upgrades are inevitable. While some updates are optional and aimed at enhancing comfort and ease of living or traveling on the water, others are essential for safety and maintenance. Owning a boat can be a lot of fun, though some say the happiest moments are when you buy or sell one. For us, we're always delighted to be sailing or working to improve our cozy home on the water.

One of the modifications we've made recently is the installation of three new fans to combat the heat. While I occasionally still find the heat challenging, the fans thankfully provide some relief. We've placed a cage-free fan above our Kitchenette and another in the salon above the desk, along with a caged fan in the Aft Cabin, all with the aim of enhancing our comfort.

The second change we implemented was removing the old stickers that spelled "Patriot," along with the star stickers from the back of the sailboat and the US flag stickers from both sides. Now, it's a blank canvas, ready for a fresh coat of paint and the new name we've selected for our sailboat.

The most recent alteration we made was installing the davits on the stern. For those who may not know, davits are stainless steel rods equipped with ropes that assist in holding, lifting, and moving your dinghy (inflatable boat) in and out of the water.

Now we are just waiting for a calm day to begin the sanding and the painting process on the sailboat.
